Finally, a reminder that the podcast theme song is by erica dreisbach, and you can find more of her work at her website right here.
This shouldn’t needed to be said, but you’re under no obligation to acknowledge any of my treatises, in whole or in part, especially if it impedes your production of a podcast that we all know gets a fraction of the audience of your YouTube videos.
As previously mentioned, Scott Lobdell had this habit of tossing off a nice script with good character beats and overall promise before diving into lame multi-parters that managed to string me along for the better part of two years. It might have continued working if the art had held up, but I hated Peterson’s early work so much that I drew a line in the sand at #304 that held. I second-guessed that decision during the year John Romita Jr. returned to the book, but I hated the various subplots and all of the new characters introduced in that time period, and I ultimately had no regrets.
I hate to break it to you, but there’s another epilogue in X-Force #19, in which Cable’s abandoned charges remain at Xavier’s School as he and Cannonball debate the future of that team. I preferred it to the Uncanny epilogue, and certainly the art is better.
